Death is like deep sleep. Just notice the last thought that come to you before you go to sleep and if you have a good night’s sleep, the next morning it will be same thought that would come to you that you had last night.
At the time of death, the entire events of our life will flash across our consciousness in a minute or two. The soul holds onto the most intense event/desire/vibration and that impression determines our next life birth - our place of living, our parents etc. So, the cause of rebirth is impression and unfulfilled desire. As long as the soul has desire, it has to take rebirth.
The way to get over this vicious circle of life and birth is to become empty from within. Some call it moksha, liberation, samadhi, enlightenment etc. Our Advance course Hollow and empty meditations just does this. If we can be free of desires, attachment and feverishness then there no impressions. There are many ways to attain this state primarily 4 - Gnana yoga ( the yoga of knowledge) , Bhakti yoga ( the path of devotion), Karma yoga ( through service) , Raja Yoga ( through sadhana) . Bhakti marga is the easiest among the four. Ultimately everything culminates into deep meditation . More than anything, its the grace of the Guru that matters. Art of Living is a complete path where we have all the four paths and more than anything we are fortunate to have Guru grace in our life. Guru has not only given the path but he will make sure we reach the destination. I would suggest we go all out in the lifetime:). Who knows what happens next? Whether we can get a Guru like Him or not. So better do it this time.
