The second chakra or the energy center is known for creative energy and pro- creative energy.
When the prana ( life force energy) moves through the 7 centers from the base of the spine to the top of the head it manifests as
1) Center: Enthusiasm/interests in life ( Base of the spine)
2) Center :Creativity ( Behind the genitals)
3) Joy/generosity ( Stomach)
4) Love/Compassion ( Heart)
5) gratitude/ gratefulness ( Throat)
6) Alertness ( in-between the eye brows)
7 ) Bliss. ( Top of the head)
When the prana goes down through different energy centers it manifests as
7 ) Bliss to
6) anger
5 ) grief
4) fear/hatred
3) jealousy
2) Lust
1) Inertia/ dullness in life
————————————————————————————————————-
Note that these energies ar mutually exclusive. For eg no 4) You cannot be in love/compassionate when you are in fear or full of hatred . For eg no 6) You lose your alertness when you are angry.
Similarly No 2) When you are thinking too much about lust or involved too much in sex , your creative ability suffers and your mind is clogged with a thick dull vibration making you unable to think sanely and logically.
The above chart shows how to deal with it:
1) Increase your energy level through yoga, breathing, pranayaman and meditation.
2) Get creative, Involve in something interesting, something you love. Learn instruments, listening to music, be with nature, Get busy. The lazier one is, more he is troubled by the thoughts of lust.
3) Take cold water bath: You will see the energy just shoots up your spine when you take a cold shower.
4) Antidote to Lust is Pure Love:
Lust focuses on the part - Love focuses on the whole
Lust brings violence - Love brings sacrifice
In lust you want to grab and possess - In love you want to give and surrender
In love even an object gains life. - In Lust even a living being becomes a mere object.
Spirituality is all about love. A true spiritual seeker is able to harness the same life force energy and transform it into heights of creativity, intelligence and bliss and it happens effortlessly for a true celibate. Celibacy is not a practice , it is a happening ( effortless happening ) for a true yogi.
