In the horoscope match making, compatibility is seen through various metrics( guna) like ability to get along, ability to have children, ability to think alike, ability to be matured and support each other during crisis, ability to live a healthy life, longevity of marriage/spouse, ability to have sound financial state as a couple etc. It is always good to match the horoscopes. There are certain combinations that can be remedied if they don't match and some other fatal combinations that will shout a big "No" . It is always recommended to consult a good astrologer before jumping into a relationship. However not everything is destined. If both the partners’ understanding is good, both are broad minded and mature enough, things can sail through even if the charts say there is no compatibility. Firm belief in God, proper remedial measures and grace of the divine can nullify most of the defects in the chart. I always say “Astrology is correct but not all astrologers are right!”
