What happens in the presence of a Guru?

In the presence of a true Guru,the following happens to a devotee

1. Sorrow diminishes.

2. Joy wells up. Without any reason you feel happier, lighter

3. Abundance dawns. There will be no dearth for anything. Whatever needed will be given to you even before the need arises.

4. Talents Manifest: All your hidden talents manifest.

5. Awareness: You will become more aware. Intellect opens up to the highest possible intelligence .

A devotee goes to the master with tears in his eyes ( tears of misery, problems ) and when he walks away he will still have tears, but the tears are transformed to that of gratitude, love, affection.
