People need help in dealing with stress the most - in dealing with their own mind, their self. Most of the problems in todays world is due to stress. Be it relationships, financial problem ( poverty) , problems related to jobs, related to health, related to studies- everything boils down to stress. The fact that we are not able to manage our own mind causes a lot of stress.
And yet it is the most neglected aspect of humanity. Depression is another thing related to the same aspect. A staggering percentage of people around the world are depressed - again due to the fact that they don't know how to handle their own mind. Prejudice, lack of education, lack of sense of oneness is the offshoot of stress.
We have seen when one is so depressed/dejected that he thinks everyone around is bad, he becomes a weirdo that takes a gun and shoots people in malls, shoots at children in school- Again due to the fact that he is not able to control his own mind and emotions.
Due to stress and lack of sense of oneness when one sees only his family as more important than others, he starts a cycle of corruption in the society.
When one is so stressed due to lack of holistic education and think his religion or his country is better than other religion or country, that leads to terrorism and war.
Divorce is so rampant in many societies again due to the fact that people don't know how to manage stress and thus the interpersonal relationships suffer.
Kids in schools and college are not getting the right education as educators themeselves are stressed. Childrens intelligence suffer again due to lack of good mentors and busy schedule of schools and colleges.
Holisistic education, smile and laughter, practice of yoga and meditation, developing a sense of oneness with people around is key to reducing prejudice in society - thus helping in a stress free world.
