Gurudev said that we are living our thoughts and that we are responsible for our thoughts....

During the last few months thoughts came to us of what we would do if we were in a difficult situation & now that has happened. So now I am here wondering, was it me and my fear-based thoughts that got us where we are today? Were my thoughts that manifested this situation today? Or was it that, we are supposed to be going through this tough time( off course not) and that was our karma and we had no choice but to go through it.

Some times I just keep saying few things for joke.... I am afraid will these things also get manifested.....

Answer: Thoughts are like moving clouds. They just come and go. Whether we act on the thought or not is up to us. For thoughts to manifest three things are necessary, intention attention and manifestation. Sometimes a future event may come to us as a thought - just like a premonition or an intuition. Intuition is a right thought at the right time. Sometimes we think innocently and that thought may come true (when we have a pure mind) but it's very difficult to actually know whether it got manifested because of the thought or if its a future event that has come to us as a thought. Especially when you are a meditator you will get a feeling of a future event but you'll need the right intuition to actually know for sure. Having said that, the collective consciousness of the masses also matter which we call as a collective karma. So, we need not be afraid of all the thoughts that goes in your head or all the jokes we make. For a sadhak, keeping the mind clear with knowledge, meditation and seva will help us be more intuitive and act with proper intention. Not all thoughts get manifested.. Don’t worry. Of course your intention and actions matter not just thoughts.
